MOSAIC MANDALAS AND MIRRORS

In this two-day mosaic mirror or mosaic mandala class, you will create a beautiful beaded and bejeweled mirror or mandala to hang in your home or give as a special gift. Class price includes everything you need to create an 18” round mandala or mirror. All materials provided, including lots of beads and tiles. No experience necessary.

In this class you will learn:

• The types of beads and tiles to use;

• The best adhesives to use for beads;

• Basic cutting and nipping techniques for glass and tile;

• How to use beads and tile together to create an intricate look and feel;

• Tips and tricks on keeping all rows straight and even;

• Learn how to grout a highly textured mosaic;

• Basic design and color considerations.

  *For LUNCH- A delicious catered vegetarian or vegan Buddha-bowl lunch made by my wonderful studio assistant-Marlene Medina is available for $12 or you can bring your own meal. Cost: $250 All inclusive

This includes a 18” round mirror frame or 18” round mandala form, all tiles and beads necessary to cover the substrate including glue to adhere these and grout to complete the project.
