Mosaic Birdhouses: In this 2-day class we will create a beautiful adornment for your home and garden. We will use a waterproof, non-toxic, custom-made birdhouse as a base for a highly ornamented and beaded mosaic. Class price includes everything you need to create a 7” x 14” birdhouse. No experience necessary.
In this class you will learn:
· The types of beads and tiles to use for this type of project;
· The best adhesives to use for beads and tiles;
· Basic cutting techniques;
· How to use beads and tile together to create an intricate look and feel;
· Tips and tricks on keeping all rows straight and even;
· Learn how to grout a highly textured mosaic;
· Basic design and color considerations;
· How to install mirror glass.
2-Day class:
· Saturday, February 1, 2020 - 9:30am-5:30pm. We’ll have a 1-hour break for lunch. [Please bring a bag lunch.]
· Sunday, February 2, 2020 - 1:00pm-4:00pm
