You get to choose a project from my top three mosaic substrates:

1. Inner Goddess

Explore the artistic essence of the divine feminine while creating your own custom mosaic “Goddess” or “Goddess of Joy! I will provide a beautiful custom 14” x 6” “Goddess” or “Goddess of Joy” wooden substrate.

Come make time for your creativity and inner goddess to shine through!  This project may provide a way to express your current journey as a woman, or possibly create a tribute to women of your family lineage, or to consider parts of your own spirit calling for love, care and nurturing. 

2. Sacred Womb

I will provide a beautiful 11” x 10” heart-shaped womb substrate that you can adorn with meaningful objects, tiles, and jewelry. This class is designed to teach basic mosaic techniques such as design, placement, adhesives, grouting as well as beading and building with a collection of materials.

This substrate can provide a place to create a living reminder of our creative potential and life force energy as women. This can include paying homage to our female ancestors [both maternal and paternal] whether known or unknown.

3. Heart Art

In this fun Valentine’s Day-inspired class, you will create a beautiful beaded and bejeweled heart to hang in your home or give as a gift to someone special. This class includes everything you need to create a 10” wall-mounted heart. Come take time for your creative soul and make a beautiful heart totem to bring more warmth and love into your life and home!

I will provide a fun collection of ephemera or tesserae as we say in mosaic-speak; however, this is a great opportunity to incorporate saved family heirlooms, trinkets, costume jewelry, etc. into this piece.

This is a great class for friends, family members and couples too! Also, private parties are available.
